This week, I speak to singer and star, Tallia Storm, on the realities of navigating fame as a woman in her 20's.
Tallia was just 13 years old when she handed her demo CD to Sir Elton's partner David Furnish in a hotel restaurant. Sir Elton called her 24 hours later and invited her to open his UK concert to 17,000 people to great critical acclaim. She now lives in an Instagram world that has enabled her to do what she wants and deliver the kind of music she wants. She has been featured on multiple TV shows and has a huge social media following.
What struck me about Tallia was her genuine modesty. This conversation paints a portrait of exactly what it looks like to get famous by simply believing you can do it and saying "yes" when the opportunities come your way.
